Economy
The Burundi Government has undertaken significant fiscal, financial and economic reforms over the years and these reforms have resulted in broad macroeconomic stability, which has created the conducive environment necessary for investments for the facilitation of economic growth and development. The economy has, on average, enjoyed a sustained real growth rate of 3-4 percent over the past five years. Despite global economic challenges, The Burundi Government remains cautiously optimistic that growth will be maintained and the current macroeconomic stability will be sustained in the medium to long term.
